The benefits of joining the Florida Shore & Beach Preservation Association go beyond professional association.

Since 1957, the Florida Shore & Beach Preservation Association has functioned as a league of coastal cities and counties on behalf of Florida’s beaches. We have approximately 200 members representing almost all coastal counties and a majority of “beach” cities, and other entities like convention and visitor bureaus, tourist development councils, inlet and navigation districts, universities, coastal design experts, project contractors, scientists, tourist-related businesses, and perhaps most-importantly, private citizens who simply love Florida’s beaches.

Together, this makes us a very unique kind of non-profit governmental association – exclusively focused on the preservation of our sandy beaches. FSBPA’s public-private partnership, in recognizing and promoting the environmental, recreational and economic benefits of healthy beaches, has lead virtually every important improvement in Florida’s nationally-recognized beach management program.

FSBPA is a recognized voice in Tallahassee on beach matters, and a long-standing resource for Florida’s coastal communities.

Our membership rates are based on organization purpose, size and type.
